Chris, Tyler We learned that even in history simple machines have helped people build things. Also, even though they are simple, they can build very complex things(pyramids).
Egyptians used the first form of a conveyor belt to transport stones from one place to another. They would put logs under the stones and pull the stones across which is much easier to do than pulling the stones directly across the land. -Monica
There was a battle between the slaves and the pharoahs. However, the pharoahs took most of the credit but in reality the slaves did most of the work. - NEEL P
Even though we have modern technologies and modern monuments today, some of our best works came from the past such as the Pyramids, The great wall, and the Taj Mahal. - Akash R
The information that we received from other classes were also incorporated in this poem/rap. For example, we mentioned that the pharaohs were preserved in the Pyramids throuhgout the years using certain preservatives such as spices and salts. "Wrap me in silk and spicemy bones" - Pranav B
Humans hve effected how technology has progressed. For instance we learned that the Egyptians used the simple mechanism of cogs to transport material, and if we look at technology today many advances have been made. Humans progress technology to do what they would like it to do, or sometimes our needs (Pranarv/Neel).Technology makes out lives easier, and has an affect on practially all aspects of life.
