12/14/11
Accomplished:
Problems:
- The new sliding device to lift the crates
- tracks laid out - builts two tiers
- Ordered more metal bars to build another tier with
Problems:
- The two tiers can fall off of each other when elevated to a certain angle
- Must find out how to prevent them from falling - attach an angled piece on the top to prevent it from falling all the way?

Redesign Lift and Arm:
- Scizzor Jack will not lift the crate high enough for maximum points
- Too weak to hold the gripping device for the crates
- New idea - Create a number of tiers and use a sliding mechanism with pulleys to slowly pull tiers upwards and therefore also pull the crate up with the gripping mechanism. ---maximum points collected
- Able to hold the gripping mechanism
12/7/11
Accomplishments:
Problems:
- Power Supply connected to the robot
- Three treads placed in the interior of the robot (top front and back axles placed for the treads)
Problems:
- The scissor jack that was supposed to elevate the crates cannot hold the weight
- Must think of a new idea on how to lift the crate to maximize the amount of points
- Possible ideas include an elevator like device to push the crate upwards, and a system of pulleys that can lift metal pieces
- Must see if we can use string
